If you’ve learned the 12 Major Chords you’re literally a half step away from learning the 12 minor chords.
This is going to be a very short article because you’ve done most of the work if you’ve learned the 12 Major chords already.
First, let’s take the C Major chord as an example. In order to make C Major into a C minor chord you just have to do one thing…take the middle note and move it down (to the left) one key. That’s it.

Here’s a D Major to a D minor.

Now take all of the Major Chords you learned earlier and play them on your piano. You’ll see that minor chords have a darker quality to them.
